Because it’s the most common question we’re apt to hear, it invariably leads to the most halfhearted, guarded, disingenuous answers we’re apt to give: “Great.” “Good.” “Fine.” “Okay.” “Hanging in there.” “Can’t complain.” “Living the dream.”
But still, how are you really?
