Preparation • January-May 2022
In order to prepare for the Camino pilgrimage those who are in town meet up to walk every few weeks. Those who lived outside of town (out of state college) would have their own routines.

“[I’ve prepared] by walking to classes at school. Helped a lot, especially living across campus from classes… I was walking closet to 6 [miles] every day. Also leg workouts because big leg days are fun.”
-Quinn
“I tried to walk 5-6 miles a day, and I especially loved longer walks with my dog, Maggie.”
-Vicki
“At school I walked on the treadmill and studies for finals at the same time. It was a great way to get some training in while also doing school work!”
-Cassie

Starting in February the folks that were in town would walk together every few weeks.
The group would walk for 3-4 hours with the goal of 8-10 miles.

Congregants gave a participant a Sea Shell from when they walked a portion of the Camino.

They leave for the trip on May 22 and won’t be back until June 1.
