Join us for a weekend of fellowship and encouragement with other men at St. Andrew. This year, the 2023 St Andrew Men’s Ministry Retreat focus is “Exploring Friendships With God, One Another and Christian Siblings around the World.” Our speaker will be Rev. Dan Randall, a missionary of the UMC and a member of St Andrew who has served in Kosovo, Africa and other areas in conflict. Come learn about missions and how wars are affecting expressions of faith around the world. Sessions also on fellowship and deepening our friendships.
You may stay in a double room ($170 total), single room ($340 total) or just come up for Saturday (free). Transportation included for those staying at the hotel. Please register below – you may pay in total online, or register below and bring a check to St. Andrew.

4:30pm • Bus leaves St. Andrew parking lot
5:30pm • Check in begins at hotel. Room keys given to registrants.
6pm • Dinner provided by St. Andrew
7-9pm • Introduction of attendees and pastors. Rev. Dan Randall will facilitate a session in which the attendees will have a chance to share with one another, learn about each other, and create opportunities for deepening friendship.
Saturday
7am • Breakfast provided by hotel.
8-11am • Learn about Rev Dan’s call and life as a missionary, as well as some of the places he has served – in war zones, disaster and relief responses, and life in intercultural settings. We will also explore how St. Andrew can relate to the UMC around the world by getting to know some of the history, current people and ongoing projects within the mission agency of the UMC – The General Board of Global Ministries.
11am-1pm • Lunch provided by St. Andrew
1-4pm • Learn more about the current state of the Methodist Church in places like Ukraine, China, Brazil, and DR Congo and how wars and disasters affect their gathering and expressions of faith.
5-7pm • Dinner at your own expense
7:30-9:00pm • Opportunities for sharing and conversation around passages of scripture and the day’s topics.

7-8am • Brief worship with scripture and communion
8am • Bus leaves to return to St Andrew.
