Colorado is home to more than 400,000 veterans and active service members. This makes up a significant portion of the Colorado population (nearly 10%). These men and women are your neighbors, family members, friends, and fellow church members. These service members are proud to serve and protect the freedoms we enjoy today, but are not immune to the challenges that often come with frequent re-locations, mobilizations, and trauma from service. Mental health issues, employment support following transitions from the military, stress on the family from long seasons apart, financial instability, and a deep need for connection to a caring community are some of the contemporary issues facing our military members today. Join us for an engaging panel discussion as we touch on these topics and discover ways to encourage and support those in uniform.
