After much visioning and strategizing around our Wellbeing initiative over the last two years, we are thrilled to announce the hiring of Bridget Beatty as our Director of Wellbeing. 

While we will continue to invest in wellbeing ministries for all generations, our initial focus for this initiative will be centered on the wellbeing of young persons between the ages of 14-26. Our research suggests that this particular age group is, compared to all other age groups, the most vulnerable to the complex challenges of mental and emotional wellness, loneliness and social isolation, self-acceptance and belonging, and self-harm and suicide.  Here at St. Andrew, we are determined to stand beside and resource young people as they navigate a world made even more difficult in the age of COVID.  

Bridget is a mother, public health professional, and resident of Highlands Ranch. Her years of experience in public health –- spanning the nonprofit, healthcare and public education sectors — make her the perfect fit to undertake this important ministry. She is excited to join the St. Andrew team to improve conditions for young people in our community.

Bridget’s hope is to make sure that every young person feels safe, connected and supported, in addition to having self-efficacy skills to navigate modern life and cultivate growth. Efforts will be focused on the WHOLE person: mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
