Becoming the Bread

Becoming the Bread: 2027 Stewardship Campaign

Every time we gather at the Table, Jesus takes bread, blesses it, breaks it, and gives it away. This is more than a story about bread — it’s the story of us. This stewardship season, we explore how God’s love transforms us, shaping us into the people God wants us to be.

Blessed, Broken, Given

“Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart.… God loves a cheerful giver.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:7 (CEB)

Grow with us by sharing your Intention of Giving for 2027.

Week One: Blessed (November 8)

You are loved by God simply for being who you are. Blessing is God’s first word over you. But it was never meant to stop with you. Like the loaves and fish, what feels like “not enough” in our hands becomes more than enough when we share it together.

Week Two: Broken (November 15)

Jesus didn’t break the bread so it could be shared. We spend so much energy holding ourselves together, but it’s often when we’re broken open, by loss, by doubt, by a season we didn’t plan for that God’s love finally has room to get in and shape us into something that can feed others.

Week Three: Given (November 22)

The blessing and the breaking were always leading here: “This is my body, given for you.” Bread isn’t finished until someone is fed. Love received becomes love shared. God doesn’t want us kept on a shelf. God wants us shared: our time, our talents, our presence, and our resources, placed in the world where they’re needed most.
