The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions for St. Andrew United Methodist Church, serving as the primary point of contact for staff and congregation members with accounting-related questions. This role manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, giving reconciliation, and day-to-day financial operations, enabling the Finance & Accounting Manager to focus on reporting, analysis, and strategic work. This position plays a critical role in the church’s commitment to financial transparency and stewardship by ensuring that every transaction is recorded accurately and that members and staff experience responsive, helpful service.
