Enjoy the gift of music! St. Andrew features a variety of music experiences during our Sunday worship services, and hosts music concerts all year round.
Music in Worship
9 am Classic Worship Experience
This service is inviting and warm, filled with majestic hymns and beautiful liturgy, featuring our 130-voice choir, orchestra, and various ensembles. You’ll enjoy music by our Handbell choirs, smaller ensembles, and vibrant soloists. The 9 am worship experience is like no other with our majestic large pipe organ and new and traditional hymns and choruses. You will be delighted by the energy and creativity of this service, and feel the intimate connection with our creator.
10:30 am Modern Worship Experience
Crowded Table is the name of our ever-growing collective of singers and instrumentalists who seek to create beautiful, transformative, and connective worship experiences for the St. Andrew congregation. As we gather in worship, singing can draw us into the presence of the Divine and connect us with one another like nothing else can. Therefore, our goal is to create musical experiences that blur the boundaries of genre, celebrate connection, challenge, inspire, motivate, and, most importantly, invite everyone to participate.

Crowded Table Collective
The Crowded Table Collective is defined by four primary values. Each value starts with the letter “I,” a letter whose capital form looks rather like the leg of a table. Therefore, these are, in a very real sense, the values that support our table and the foundation upon which all of our work depends.
Invitation – Crowded Table is a fully-inclusive community with no barriers to entry... skill level, experience, age, identity, orientation, sense of humor... all are welcome, and all have a place. This value also speaks to the way we express ourselves musically and how we lead the congregation during worship services. Engagement is not prescribed or mandated, but modeled and offered humbly as an opportunity for worship, connection, and growth.
Innovation – This embodies our values of creativity, excellence, risk-taking, and continuing to dream about new ways to connect people to the Divine Spirit through music, worship, and the arts. Through the blending of sacred and secular music, crafting unique arrangements of familiar spiritual songs, embracing a bewildering variety of musical styles, incorporating unexpected instrumentation, and even writing our own music, we have only just begun to scratch the surface of what is possible.
Integrity – Our relationships and connections are based on honesty, authenticity, and showing up in every moment as our true and fullest selves. When playing a popular pop song or trending worship song, we don’t try to “sound like the record.” We try to sound like us—everyone contributing their own flavor to the mixture. We are always seeking to grow and improve, but we must do it in a way that is healthy and authentic. We spend time every week listening to each others’ stories and learning how to support one another beyond our musical partnership. We continue to grow closer as a team as we strive for transparency and consistency in our interactions both with each other, and with the larger congregation.
Impact – Our purpose extends beyond making great music and cultivating meaningful relationships. We also have an opportunity to make a huge impact on our church community and beyond through the inspirational and transformational moments we create together on Sunday mornings. We also have a weekly opportunity through our partnership with AfterHours Denver and Network Coffee (networkcoffeehouse.org) to assemble 50+ sack lunches every week for distribution to our food insecure and unhoused neighbors in downtown Denver.
