CURRENT SERIES - Faith in Fiction
Long before Jesus told a parable, God was telling stories. The Bible opens not with a doctrine but with a garden, a serpent, a man and a woman trying to hide. Scripture, it turns out, is mostly narrative—and the people who wrote it understood what we sometimes forget: a story can carry the weight of truth in a way that an argument never can. Great fiction works the same way. It rehearses us, in the quiet, for the moments our own lives will eventually ask of us—when grace arrives disguised as a stranger, when forgiveness costs more than we can afford, when sacrifice is asked of us before we feel ready.
In this series, we'll read scripture alongside great works of fiction and ask what each can teach us about doubt and belief, mercy and judgment, and the long road home.
Join us as we come to discover that the greatest stories are not finally about us—but about the God who has been telling them all along.
