St. Andrew is in the process of transitioning to a new church database system and a new giving platform in early 2026. Updates will be shared on this website page, via email, and on Sunday mornings as needed. See the most recent updates listed below.
1-2-26 Operations Update:
Church Center is now live as our new church database and membership system. This system has been installed over 90,000 times and gets positive reviews from other United Methodist Churches similar to us in size and scale. Church Center gives us best-in-class features for ease of use and cybersecurity. Read on and look for future updates to learn how it will support St. Andrew's vision, mission and reach.
New Worship Sign-in: Over the next few weeks we'll be migrating to a single method for registering in-person worship attendance. Digital check-in pads will begin appearing near entrances to the sanctuary. We've been preparing for this rollout since Thanksgiving by testing with a pilot group each week and through a demo station in the atrium for the past two Sundays. Children's Ministry has been using the same technology since November. We'll continue hosting an information table in the atrium. We expect it will take a few weeks for everyone to become familiar with the process and to figure out where and how many stations are needed. Please be patient if there are bottlenecks while we all learn what works. This new process will simplify the three different check-in methods we use today into a single approach. Having the stations will eliminate the weekly step of manually transcribing information from the paper pads, which takes a staff member and a volunteer a full day to do each week. The new system will also enable stronger connections to visitors and will help with security.
Small Groups Support: Four St. Andrew groups are already using Church Center to manage membership, promote events, and stay connected. If you lead a small group and would like to learn about how the new tools can save you time and strengthen connections, contact Tricia Arthur, our Coordinator of Group Life, at groups@gostandrew.com.
Church Center Information and Demonstrations: Church Center provides member profile management, giving features, small groups and classroom attendance all through a unified system accessible via a website and mobile app. Last Sunday we hosted an information table for members to ask questions, learn about St. Andrew's two mobile apps, and try out the new check-in stations. This Sunday we'll have the information table available again, plus an option to try out the new check-in station before entering the 8, 9 and 10:30 am services.
Important for Recurring Donations: Most recurring givers have already made the switch. If you have recurring donations automatically sent from a bank account or credit card, please migrate your information to our new system before your first donation occurs in 2026. You can do this now by accessing the giving page in Church Center here. Once we see your new recurring payment established, we'll cancel future drafts from the previous system. Please note: There are two ways to authorize St. Andrew to draft your donation from your bank account. If your bank appears in the searchable list appearing under the US bank payment method, then you can instantly verify by selecting your bank and following the prompted steps, which will include logging into your bank's online verification screen. If your bank doesn't provide instant verification, you can authorize through the manual link shown beneath the list of bank logos. Authorization through this method will require manual entry of your routing number and account number, followed by steps to confirm the amount of a small deposit Church Center will make to your account within a few days.
