Community UMC of Pacific Palisades

We continue to pray for all those impacted by the ongoing fires in California—the individuals facing tremendous loss, the courageous firefighters, and all those affected by the overwhelming devastation of this disaster. In the weeks and months ahead, we are committed to standing alongside two churches that have lost everything. As these communities grieve, assess the damage, and begin to rebuild, there are several ways St. Andrew can offer immediate assistance. 

Community UMC of Pacific Palisades is requesting e-gift cards (Amazon, Target, Grubhub, etc.) to be sent to the email linked here. These cards will be distributed to community members who have lost their homes and belongings. Altadena United Methodist Church is seeking direct donations to the California-Pacific Conference, with the designation “AUMC Disaster Relief,” and both churches encourage giving to UMCOR. In addition to these immediate needs, St. Andrew is collaborating with the Cal-Pac Conference and sending 200 hygiene kits to the affected areas.
